AAA Lucha Libre June Episode

The following June episode of AAA Lucha Librea features five very action packed Lucha style matches. The first match features 8 Pro Wrestlers in a mixed tag team match who have years of history in AAA Lucha Libre and in the Mexican Independent Wrestling Circuit. The match features Faby Apache, Pimpinela Escarlata, El Elegido & Perseus vs. Taya, La Parka Negra, Pirata Morgan & La Hiedra. Unlike in American pro wrestling organizations such a WWE, Ring of Honor, TNA Impact, etc. it’s pretty regular to have mixed tag team matches in Mexico. AAA even has a mixed tag team championship belt which has been held by four times by Faby Apache who is in the first match, and has also been the first ever mixed Tag Team Champion along with Mexican Wrestling legend, Electroshock.

Next on the card is six man tag team match between Angelico, Jack Evans & Laredo Kid vs. Dark Curevo, Dark Escoria & Mocho Cota Jr. Angelico is a 28-year old AAA Superstar who also performs in Lucha Underground. Jack Evans is a former AAA Cruiserweight Champion who has trained under Stu Hard and Bryan Alvarez, and started his career the early years of his career in Ring of Honor and TNA. Laredo Kid is a 28-year old wrestler who also has wrestled for AAA since 2005, and who recently had a tryout match for the WWE in a tag team match vs. Los Matadores. Dark Curevo, Dark Escoria & Mocho Cota Jr. have a long history in AAA and the Mexican Indie circuit, and have not been featured in any of the bigger organizations in the United States as of yet, but have held several titles between the group in Mexican organizations. This is a very great match that we recommend not skipping on this video.

Third Match on the card is a Trios Tag Team Championship Match between PSYCHO CIRCUS vs. El Mesias, Electroshock & Pentagon Jr. The champions Psycho Circuis is a trios Tag Team which features Psycho Clown, Monster Clown & Murder Clown. Psycho Clown comes from a the Alvarado Family who has a very long history in Mexican Wrestling. Monster Clown and Murder Clown are part of the Psycho Circus who has been two times AAA Trios Tag Team Champions. El Mesias also wrestlers under Mil Muertes under which he is the current Lucha Underground Heavyweight Champion. Electroshock has wrestled with AAA Lucha Libre since 1997 and is a very decorated champion for the organization. Pentagon Jr. is a 30-year old superstar who is also part of the Lucha Underground Roster.

Co-Main Event is a stacked card featuring La Parka, Myzteziz & Blue Demon Jr. vs. Cibernetico, Averno & Chessman. La Parka has wrestled with AAA Lucha Libre since 1996, has held several titles and has once been ranked the #43 wrestler in the world by Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) in 2007. Blue Demon Jr also has a very long history in AAA being with the organization since 1997 and also currently wrestling in Lucha Underground as many other superstars on this card. Myzteziz is the original Sin Cara and has wrestled under that name for several years in Mexico and in the WWE from 2011 to 2014, when he left the organization and has decided to come back to AAA Lucha Libre. Cibernetico has wrestled with AAA since 1995 and has made appearances in the WWE during the mid 90’s while WWE had a partnership with AAA Lucha Libre. He has also held several AAA titles and has once been ranked the #32 Wrestler by PWI in 2008. As many wrestlers on this card, Averno, has also a very long history wrestling in Mexico with AAA and another major organization in Mexico called CMLL, and has made an appearance in TNA in 2008 World x Cup where he was part of Team Mexico. Chessman has wrestled with AAA since 2001 and is a former Trios Tag Team Champion with Cibernetico and Averno, and has also held the AAA Tag Team Championship.

The Main Event of the card, features Alberto El Patron & Fenix vs. Brian Cage & Texano Jr. Alberto El Patron is a very decorated Pro Wrestling Superstar that does not need much introduction. He is the current AAA Heavyweight Champion, 4 time WWE Heavyweight Champion, 2011 WWE Royal Rumble Winner, and 2011 #6 Ranked Wrestler by PWI. He is also part of the Lucha Underground roster and has made appearances for Ring of Honor since leaving the WWE in 2014. Alberto El Patron started his wrestling career in AAA in 2000. Fenix is a superstar to add to your watch list. He’s a 24-year old wrestler who made his wrestling debut at age 15 and has been with AAA since 2011, and also part of the Lucha Underground roster. Brian Cage has wrestled in the WWE from 2008 to 2009 in their developmental territory FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling), and has recently joined AAA in 2015 and Lucha Underground in 2014 after making a few appearances in TNA Dark Matches in 2012 and 2013. Maybe it took a while for him to develop, but when watching him it seems like TNA and WWE missed out on this superstar. Texano Jr. is the previous AAA Heavyweight Champion who recently lost the title to Alberto El Patron. He’s been with AAA since 2011 and has previously wrestled with CMLL from 2003 to 2011. He’s also a former AAA Trios Champion and has also been ranked by PWI at #48 in 2013.
